Wanted to share one of my favorite pages from Charismagic issue 2. I've been working hard to get better at drawing cars and city scenes. I personally don't like using sketch up when it comes to drawing cars or buildings (I don't hold anything against those who do, I know deadlines can be tight.) because it can make things feel lifeless and dull. It can also be a crutch if you let it.
I've been taught that if you want to get better as a artist, work hard on drawing the things you hate. After practicing a lot and doing just that, things like backgrounds and vehicles become a lot less intimidating to draw. I know I have much more room for growth in these areas still. Just wanted to share this to encourage others to work hard on turning their weaknesses into strengths.
Thank you all for your continued support. Can't wait for you all to see what's next for Charismagic.
God bless!
